Kijcharoen Engineering Electric Public Company Limited (“The Company” or “KJL”)

was founded by Mr. Karoon Sujiwarodom (“Khun Karoon”) on 10 May 1996 to provide custom manufacturing of electrical switchboard enclosures and cable trays as Khun Karoon is specialized and experienced in the manufacturing and distribution business of electrical switchboard enclosures, cable trays, as well as related electrical systems and appliances.

At present, the Company engages in the manufacturing and distribution business of electrical switchboard enclosures, cable trays, wiring accessories, and assemblies of custom sheet metal fabrication works processed

by modern manufacturing machines and technologies. Core products of the Company are electrical switchboard enclosures, wiring trays, wireways, cable ladders and cable trays, both in the epoxy powder coated form and hot-dip galvanized form, under the KJL trademark. The company supplies both KJL standard products and made-to-order products of which the specifications are variable depending on customers’ requirements, such as size, raw materials, colours, etc., that satisfy their needs of utilization.

Moreover, the Company provides services, including assembling and distributing interior components of electrical switchboard enclosures,

designing and manufacturing electrical works and control system, as well as sheet metal designing, cutting, folding and processing sheet metal fabrication in various forms according to utilization conditions and customers’ requirements. Nowadays, the Company’s target customers are sale agencies, electrical contractors, general electric appliance stores, and organizational end customers.

The Company has been consistently growing and earning a profit.

Highlights of its development over the last 10 years are, for example, the increase in manufacturing capacity, new product development, investment in computer numerical control (CNC) machines imported from Japan, supplied by one of the large manufacturing companies of metal processing machines in the world, as well as the development of factory automation system. Besides, the Company has developed the business cooperation with Schneider Electric, the French company as the world’s top electrical system manufacturer who grants the Company the copyright license to manufacture and distribute electrical switchboard enclosures of Prisma iPM Model which have met the requirements of designing standard testing for low-voltage switchgear and control gear assembly enclosures, or IEC 61439 (License Type Test), etc.

Today, the Company carries on the manufacturing and distribution business of electrical switchboard enclosures, cable trays, wiring appliances, and fabricated steel products which are categorized into the following product groups:

1. Products manufactured by the Company and distributed under the KJL trademark or KJL standard products which are the core products, namely:

  • Electrical Switchboard Cabinet
  • Electrical Wiring
  • Cable Pull boxes
  • Plastic Product
  • 5K Product

2. Custom or made-to-order products manufactured and distributed by the Company including electrical switchboard enclosures related products and cable trays with special requirements of specifications.

3. Assembly and distribution services for other products related to the electrical system

4. Custom assemblies of fabricated metal works manufactured and distributed by the Company.

At present, the Company has 2 buildings for production (total production capacity is 33 million pieces)
and 2 warehouse buildings which are both factory buildings and warehouses located in Amphur Krathum Baen Samut Sakhon Province. The company has passed various certifications for quality and management standards to build confidence in the products for customers and consumers while standards related to business operations at the Company that has been certified as of 31 December 2024 are as follows:
  • ISO 9001:2015 or Quality Management Systems Standard
  • TIS Certification 513-2010 (IEC 60529:2001) or Degrees of Protection Provided by Enclosures (IP20, IP44, IP54, IP55 and IP65).
  • TIS Certification 1436-2540 Low-voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies
  • Green Industry level 2 - Green Activity, carrying out activities to reduce environmental impacts has been achieved according to the commitments set for factory 1 from the Ministry of Industry.
  • ISO 14001:2015 or Environmental Management Systems Standard
